Connect a power supply of 12 to 16VDC to the points GND (-) and
VA (+).
Or connect a transformer of 2 x 9 to 12VAC / 100mA to the points
GND (0) and VA and VB (see Fig. 3.0).
As soon as the power supply is switched on, LED LD1 should light
up and tuning LED LD2 should light up for a moment.
If LED LD2 remains lit or lights up irregularly, turn tuning capacitor
CV1 (with a plastic screw driver). Normally the tunning capacitor
should be more or less in the middle position (half of the fixed and
movable plates overlap each other).
The tuning LED is used to tune the transmitter perfectly to the
receiver. The stronger the LED is lit, the better the reception will
be.
See transmitter manual for further adjustment procedures.
Test the transmitter/receiver combination with the standard code
(i.e. all code isles are open).
Later the required code for the transmitter and the receiver can be
set by connecting the code isles of IC1 with the adjacent mass
isles (see Fig. 4.0).
When the codes of the transmitter and the receiver match, and
when the transmitter push button is pushed, the relay should
operate and LED LD1 should flash.
Once the proper operation has been verified, the circuit can be
installed in its fixed place.
INSTALLATION
ATTENTION: When coil L2 is bent, tuning will be affected. Take
care not to bend this coil when handling the circuit.
