MOUNTING A SAW
NOTE: If you use fasteners other than the supplied ones to mount your saw,
!
we recommend that you use lock washers or locknuts to ensure that the saw
stays securely tightened during operation.
CAUTION: Before operation, ensure that the mitre saw is fastened
!
securely to the stand to prevent unwanted movement of the saw.
EXTENSIONS AND ROLLERS
1. Loosen the Extension Locking Knob. There is one for each end.
2. Pull on the Extension Brace until the desired support length is reached
or you hear a 'click', meaning the Spring Lock Pin (#40 in the schematic
drawing) has engaged.
3. Tighten the Extension Locking Knobs to secure the Extension Braces in
place.
4. To return the Extension Braces to their original positions, press the
Spring Lock Pin located on the inside of the innermost rails and push
against the extensions.
The Extension Rollers can be raised or lowered according to necessity,
normally to match the level of the saw's cutting table.
1. Loosen the Roller Height Locking Knob at the end of one extension.
2. Grasp the Extension Roller and pull it up to the desired height.
3. Re-tighten the Roller Height Locking Knob.
4. Repeat for the other roller.
STORING YOUR STAND
To save space, your stand can be stored vertically with the mitre saw attached.
1. Release the Extension Brace Locking Knobs.
2. Slide in the Extension Braces.
3. Re-tighten the Extension Brace Locking Knobs.
