Heating devices: wait until the appliance has
cooled down before you touch the housing and
parts of the unit.
Be extra careful during cleaning and servicing.
INTRODUCTION
This stylish blender has stainless-steel cutting
blades and a powerful motor, so you can chop fruit
and vegetables, and purée shakes and juices with
ease. Using the hole in the lid, you can also add extra
ingredients during blending without spillage. The
rubber feet stop the blender moving while in use.
OPERATION
The blender includes the following parts (Fig. 1):
1. On/off/speed switch enabling you to opt for one
of the two continuous blending settings or the
pulse setting.
2. Carafe with measure.
3. Lid with hole for extra ingredients.
BEFORE USE
Clean the appliance and its parts (see

'Maintenance and Cleaning').

Put the carafe on the casing and turn it slightly
to the right to lock the carafe. By turning it to the
left you can remove the carafe again. Note: if the
carafe is incorrectly placed and not locked the
motor will not start.
Put the lid on the carafe.
Position the filling cap on the lid and fix it into
place by turning it 90 degrees.
To dismantle the appliance repeat the steps above in
reverse order.
BLENDING
Cut the fruit and/or vegetables into pieces that
will fit easily into the carafe.
Put the pieces into the carafe and put the lid
on the carafe to avoid spattering.
Plug in the blender.
Set the blender to the required setting. It takes
a few seconds to blend the ingredients. The
longer you keep the blender running, the finer
the ingredients will be blended. Do not keep
the blender running for more than 2 minutes
continuously (see 'Additional safety instructions').
If you want to add extra ingredients, simply
turn the filling cap 90 degrees and remove it
from the lid. If the pieces are too large for the

hole, turn off the appliance, remove the lid and
put the pieces into the carafe. Put the lid back
on the blender before turning it on again.
Once you have finished blending, turn off the
appliance by turning the switch to "0", then
unplug the blender from the wall.
Note: a blender mixes and purees. The 'blade'
is purposefully blunt so that it pulverises
ingredients. A blender does not cut and cannot
take the place of a food processor or mincer.
MAINTENANCE AND CLEANING
Take care not to injure yourself on the sharp
cutting blades at the bottom of the carafe.
Ensure that the appliance is not plugged in.
Cleaning the knives (Fig. 2): remove the lid and
turn the carafe upside down. Place this on a
folded tea towel to avoid damaging the glass.
Unscrew the screw ring (4) in the direction of the
arrow. Remove the screw ring and remove the
knives (5). Clean the knives in hot soapy water.
After cleaning, replace everything in reverse
order and firmly tighten the screw ring. Make
sure to place the silicon ring (6) properly at the
bottom of the glass carafe before you replace the
knives. The knives can also be cleaned by filling
the carafe up to 1/4 with warm soapy water. In
that case, put on the lid and run the blender in
position 1 for about 30 seconds. Rinse the carafe
well with clean water.
After every use, clean the inside of the carafe
and its parts using a damp cloth and a little
detergent. Carefully remove all pulp remains
from the blender, taking care to remove pulp
from around the rotating blades too.
The carafe and removable parts can be
cleaned with soapy water. However, do not use
soapy water to clean the base.
Clean the exterior of the base with a soft,
damp cloth.
After cleaning, reassemble the appliance for
storage.

ADDITIONAL SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

Note: a blender is only suitable for processing
fluids and foodstuffs that contain a high
degree of fluid, such as vegetables, fruit, ice
cubes and sauces. A blender should never be
used for exclusively dry items, such as nuts or
chocolate, as the appliance may overheat.
This blender's mixing and pouring carafe is
made from real glass, a high-quality, very
hygienic natural material that radiates
quality. Glass is of course fragile, so to
