Initial operation

To ensure correct initial operation, please read these operating
instructions and the safety instructions carefully before using the
device!
Prior to commissioning, check the device for damage. IF the device
is damaged, do not operate it and consult an expert or our service.

Installation/Setup

Only persons familiar with the risks and the pertinent regulations
may assemble and install the device. Only qualified persons may
service, operate and commission this device.
Take care not to place the appliance in direct sunlight and protect it
from vibration, dust, heat, cold and moisture. Keep the appliance
away from powerful transformers or motors.
When installing/setting up the device, make sure that the connec-
tion cable is not crushed and cannot be damaged by any sharp
edges.
Do not operate the device on flammable surfaces or close to flam-
mable objects. Always keep a distance of at least 0.5 m to flamma-
ble objects.
Make sure that the fog output opening is not directed towards per-
sons, animals or open fires. The emerging hot steam may lead to
burns (keep a safety distance of 0.5 m)!
Ensure sufficient ventilation of the device and keep a free space of
0.2 m around the device; never cover up the ventilation openings.
Always place it on a stable surface. Ensure that it does not fall down
and causes injury.
The device's operating position is horizontal (max. tilt: 15°) so that
the tank does not leak when filling and operating the device.
The device must be installed out of reach.
The section below the installation site must be blocked off during
installation and service work.
The installation site or device must be dimensioned in such a way
that it can bear at least 10 times the load capacity for 1 hour without
permanent adverse deformation.
In addition, the device must be secured with a second independent
safety fixture besides the actual installation fixture when installed
with the installation strap. If the main suspension fails, no part of the
installation must be able to fall down.
All relevant regulations (especially BGV C1, formerly VBG 70, and EN
60598-2-17) must be closely observed for installation.
