Class I: these appliances have their chassis connected to electrical earth by an earth
conductor. Always plug the appliance to grounded electrical outlet.
The triangle with the exclamation point, inside an equilateral triangle, reminds the
user to read the important operation and maintenance instructions in this owner's
guide.
This symbol indicates that the surface of the appliance becomes very hot during
operation; do not touch it with bare hands.
The dustbin means the product meets the requirements of the legislation that protects
the environment (2002/96/EC, 2003/108/EC, and 2002/95/EC). This symbol indicates
that when the last user wishes to discard this product, it must be sent to appropriate
facilities for recovery and recycling. Dispose of the used product promptly and
responsibly. Ask to your local authorities where to find proper disposal zone.
• Read these instructions for all components before using this product. Keep the instructions for
future reference.
• Carefully unpack your appliance. Save all packing materials for a possible future use. To avoid
any danger of suffocation, do not let the children play with the packing materials. Check if the
product is damaged. Do not attempt to use or fix it if any part appears damaged. Refer servicing
to qualified personnel only in case you need to repair it.
• Packing must be disposed promptly and responsibly. Ask to your local authorities where to find
proper disposal.
• Before plugging it, check the rating label of the item to control the power rating is identical to
your domestic power supply. Do not plug if the technical features are different.
• In case technical features of the plug are different to the socket-outlet, change the socket-outlet
only by referring to qualified personnel. It is not recommended to use extension cables or
adaptors. If necessary use only accessories that comply with the safety regulation to avoid any
hazard.
• This appliance must be used only as indicated in this owner's guide. Any other different use is
incorrect and could be dangerous. The manufacturer is not responsible for damages that may
result from an incorrect use.
• This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical,
sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been
given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their
safety.
• Do not leave the appliance within the reach of children.
• Never leave the appliance exposed to whether (rain, sun, cool etc.). Never leave the appliance
on near heat sources or gas, or near to naked flame sources.
• Do not use the appliance with wet hands or barefoot.
• NEVER IMMERSE THE APPLIANCE IN WATER OR OTHER LIQUIDS.
• Before using the appliance check if the power cord is damaged, in this case do not use the
appliance; while operating check the power cord doesn't come into contact with cutting boards,
heat sources etc.
• Always unroll the power cord before using the appliance.
• When removing the plug from the wall socket, never pull on the power cord.
• Never use the appliance if it is damaged and/or in case of short-circuit. In no case try to repair
the appliance yourself in order to avoid all the risks caused by electricity. In case you need to
repair it, contact the Custom Service number.
• Always unplug the appliance:
− before cleaning
− when it is unattended
− when children are not being supervised
− after each use
