Test ing a USB cab le
1.
C onne ct the Mini-B end to the sock e t on the maste r and the
USB A end to the remote .
2.
Press the Test button.
The LED nex t to CO NNEC TED and the num be red LEDs 1 to 4
light up if the cable is O K.

Battery
Warning
• Do not puncture batte ries or throw them in fire as the y
may e xplode .
• Do not atte mpt to re charge non-re chargeable batte rie s
(alkaline ).
• Dispose of batte ries in accordance with local re gulations.
Ke ep batte rie s away from children.
• Re move the batte ry from the de vice if it will not be used
for a long time . O ld batte ries can be gin to leak and
damage the de vice .
Notes
• The de vice has a batte ry low indicator. Replace the batte ry as
soon as the indicator lights up. A low batte ry powe r may produce
false readings.
• To re place the batte ry:
1.
Slide ope n the batte ry cove r at the back and replace with a
corre ct batte ry (see Te chnical Spe cifications). Re spe ct the
polarity.
2.
C lose the batte ry cove r.

Cleaning a nd Ma intena nce
• The te ste r is a pre cision test instrume nt and, whe n use d as
described in this manual, should not require m ainte nance .
• C alibration is not re quired.
• To clean the outside of the te ste r, use a cloth dampe ne d with a
m ild de te rge nt solution. Do not use any abrasive cleanse rs or
chem ical solve nts that may damage the case of the teste r.
