Downloading Drivers, Utilities, and Manuals
Drivers, utilities, and manuals can be downloaded from one of the following
URLs.

Select the product name from the "Select any product" pulldown menu.
Controlling the Speaker Volume
You can control the speaker volume with the speaker volume control.
1.
Press the lever of the side cover diagonally backward and open the side
cover. See Illustration F.
2.
Turn the volume control upward to turn up the volume. Turn it downward to
turn down the volume. See C 26.
Adjusting the LCD Unit Angle
You can slide the LCD unit to adjust its angle as you like.
1.
Slide the LCD unit up and down and adjust the angle while holding the LCD
lock lever on the left side of the LCD. See Illustration G.
2.
Release the LCD lock lever to fix the angle.
3.
Move the LCD unit slightly up and down to ensure that the LCD unit is
firmly fixed.
Adjusting the LCD Brightness
Press the LCD brightness adjust buttons (see A 14) to adjust the LCD brightness.
Printer Operation
Replacing the Roll Paper
When the roll paper is close to the end or used up, the Paper Out LED comes on.
Replace the roll paper by following the steps below.
1.
Open the printer cover in the direction indicated by the dashed arrow in
Illustration H.
2.
Remove the used roll paper core if there is one, and insert a new roll. See
Illustration I.
Note:
Be sure that the paper comes off the roll in the correct direction, as shown in Illustration J.
3.
Pull out the roll paper end a little, close the printer cover, and then tear off the
paper. See Illustration K.
Paper Feed
Press the Feed button to feed the paper. See E 48.
