2.1 Safety definitions

adjacent area.

2.2 Safety instructions for operation

Warning! If you do not obey these instructions, there
is a risk of death or injury.
● Read and understand the instructions before you use the
product.
● Make sure that you know how to use the controls of the
product.
● Do not use the product if you are tired or under the
influence of drugs, alcohol or medication.
● Install the product with screws to a stable, level, and 85
cm high bench. Make sure that there is room to move the
wooden logs.
● Do not use the product on the floor. The users face
comes to close to the product and that can cause injury.
● Make sure that the work area is clean and well lit.
● Keep the product clean. Keep the product free from tools
and loose items.
● Do a check of the product before use. Make sure that all
screws are correctly tightened before operation. Do not
use the product if the safety devices are damaged.
● Do not use the product in wet areas. Do not expose the
product to rain.
● Do not use the product in an explosive environment, near
flammable liquids, gas or dust.
● Do not wear loose-fitting clothing, jewellery or watches
that can get caught in the moving parts.
● Always wear personal protective equipment when you
operate the product. Refer to "2.3 Personal protective
equipment" on page 26.
● The operator must work alone. Do not let a person help
the operator if a log is stuck.
● Do not let children or unauthorized persons operate the
product.
● Make sure that no unauthorized persons are in the work
area during operation.
● Do a check that there are no nails in the wooden logs.
