Care:
• Close the velcro straps before washing
• To protect the garment, place in a mesh laundry bag for washing
• Machine wash on the gentle cycle using a mild detergent
• DO NOT use bleach or fabric softeners
• Tumble dry on low heat setting. Air drying is recommended to preserve the life of the garment
• Your Compreflex Standard Knee device should be washed as often as needed
Care & Cautions:
Please read these instructions carefully and consult your medical professional
if you have any health concerns. Your SIGVARIS GROUP compression garment
should be comfortable and never hurt. If you experience any pain or discomfort, or
visible marks on the skin indicative of skin reactions or constriction, immediately
remove the garment and consult your physician.
Application:
1. Open and roll back each strap so it attaches to the garment
2. Next, slide garment on and pull over knee. The stretch panel will secure garment in place.
3. Starting with the bottom strap, gently lay the straps closed over the knee without applying
compression, making sure there is minimal strap overlap and no gaps between straps
4. Press the velcro ends of the strap firmly onto the sides of the garment. Continue securing the
remaining straps in the same manner
5. Apply the Accutab Devices and finish tightening the straps according
to the instructions on the provided Accutab Devices insert
6. If desired, place the Butterfly Strap (included) over the patella and attach
to garment to cover any gaps between straps
7. To remove garment, detach the Butterfly Strap. Open and roll back each strap
so it attaches to the garment and slide garment off the leg
Use:
While the Compreflex Standard Knee is suitable for day and night time wear,
it should be removed once a day to allow for skin hygiene and wound care. It
should then be reapplied according to the donning instructions. Frequency of
garment removal for skin checks, hygiene, and/or wound care may vary according
to each individual's needs and the medical professional's recommendations.
SIGVARIS GROUP recommends wearing a liner with each compression device.
