• Thread guide F prevents flapping of the upper thread, which can otherwise cause skipped stitches and thread break-
ages when sewing coarse materials.

1. Remove the screw q, and then remove the standard
thread guide w.
2. Remove the screw e which is securing the face plate.

4. Use the screw q which was installing the standard
thread guide w to install thread guide F r to the hole
