ROUND LED LUMINAIRE WITH MOTION DETECTOR
Read the complete manual before carrying out the installation and activating the system. Keep
the manual for future reference.
1. DESCRIPTION
This is an adaptable and energy-efficient luminaire with a clean design. The luminaire is ideal for use in public
spaces, outdoors, lobbies and garages. With its homogeneous lighting effect, the lamp ensures superior lighting
in all conditions. As the lamp is equipped with a built-in HF sensor, it only switches on when necessary.
As soon as someone is detected, the light is switched on daylight-dependent. The lamp only switches on once
the set daylight condition (twilight level) is no longer reached and remains active as long as human movement
is detected.
This manual applies to the following lamp types:

colour
white
These lamp types are also available without built-in HF detector with ornamental grille (reference numbers
352-08976 to -78) or without ornamental grille (see reference numbers 352-08973 to -75).
2. USE
These lamp types are suitable for ceiling or wall mounting in public spaces, outdoors, lobbies and garages.
Please note that the HF detector covers a different detection area with ceiling or wall mounting (see Fig. 1).
In case of outdoor use, take into account that the HF detector registers all movements. Movements of hedges,
leaves, raindrops and snowflakes may cause the detector to switch on incorrectly. It is not recommended to set
up the detector close to a street. Passing vehicles up to 10 m away may activate the detector.
The light source of this luminaire is not replaceable; when the light source reaches its end of life the whole
luminaire shall be replaced.
3. OPERATION
The HF motion detector actively emits high-frequency electro-magnetic waves (5.8 GHz) and responds to changes
in the waves reflected by objects. If it detects something, it switches on the light. After the final detection, the
detector switches off the light after the switch-off delay (approx. 10 s to 5 min.) has lapsed. The detector can
also detect movements through walls, doors and glass.
As the detection is the result of reflected waves, the detection range changes according to the mounting position.
The speed and the type of object (a person, vehicle, etc.) strongly influence the detection range.
Before putting the lampshade back, check that the METER potentiometer for the detection range per metre
is set optimally.
By using the provided protective metal brackets on either side, the detector can be protected from interference
waves (see fig. 8).
4. MOUNTING
1.
Remove the 4 screws at the front of the lamp.
2.
Remove the protection cap and the lampshade from the base.
3.
Detach the LED ring at the three fixing points (see Fig. 2).
4.
Detach the wire from the led control.
5.
Insert the power supply cable through the cable inlet at the bottom of the base.
6.
Mark the drill holes on the ceiling or wall and drill the holes the same size as the plugs provided (see fig. 3).
7.
Firmly press the plugs into the drill holes (see Fig. 3).
8.
Attach the base against the ceiling or wall.
9.
Connect the wires as shown in the wiring diagram (see fig. 7 and § 5).
10. Replace the LED ring in the lamp and reattach it (see Fig. 4).
11. Reattach the LED control to the LED ring (see Fig. 4).
12. Set the desired settings for the HF sensor (see fig. 5 and § 6).
13. Reattach the protection cap and lampshade to the base with the four screws and make sure they are
securely in place.
5. WIRING
Connect the detector as shown in the wiring diagram in Fig. 7.

recommended to pass additional load through an external relay.
6. CONFIGURATION
6.1. Light sensitivity
Using the LUX potentiometer, you can set the threshold value of the twilight switch continuously between ð
(daytime mode, 2,000 lux) and ƒ (night mode, 5 lux) (see Fig. 5c).
6.2. Switch-off delay
Using the TIME potentiometer, the switch-off delay is set between ±10 s to 5 min (see fig. 5a). The switch-off
delay determines the length of time the light stays on after the final movement in the detection area.
6.3. Detection range
Using the METER potentiometer, the detection range of the detector is set (approx. 1 m – 10 m diameter) (see fig. 5b).

the LUX potentiometer (in the direction of ƒ).
• Decrease the detection range using the METER potentiometer.
• Check the detection area for causes of incorrectly switching on (movement
of plants, animals, etc.).
