IMPORTANT!
Always turn off the pump before changing the multiport valve
position.
When there is a possibility for freezing water, you must empty
the filter and move it to warm storage. Close also the inlets of
the pool with plugs if necessary.
The guarantee does not cover damage caused by freezing.
To keep the pump up and running without problems or damage, you must clean the
prefilter regularly.
Do not open any screws while the system is running.
Pump and filter tanks are pressurized systems that must be used with care and caution
since they can cause severe damage if broken.
Check that the motor shaft moves freely before re-activation of the pump after long
pause.
With first usage with filter sand, please clean the filter media as follows:
1. Inspect all the connections have been made correct and are secure.
2. Depress top mount valve handle and rotate to BACKWASH position.
3. Prime the pump (if not done)
Notice! Do not start the pump without water, it can damage the pump!
4. Start the pump. Once water flow is steady out the waste line, run the pump for at least 2
minutes or as long as the water from waste line is clear. The initial back-washing of the
filter is recommended to remove any impurities of fine sand particles in the sand media.
5. Stop the pump.
6. Set the valve to RINSE position and start the pump. Let it run about 30 s or as long the
water flowing is clear.
7. Stop the pump. Set the valve to FILTER position. You can now start the pump to run in
normal filter mode.
Cleaning the prefilter
The prefilter basket takes away bigger impurities bugs etc. It will clog in time, so it is good to check
and clean it regularly. Stop the pump (close valve from the pool if possible) open the prefilter lid.
Remove and clean the basket. Install the basket back and close the lid and only tighten by hand.
Notice that the gasket must be in place and clean to avoid leaks.
