USE THIS HOLE
FOR CENTER
SECTION ASSEMBLY
NOTE:
General assembly - loosely assemble center section (page 1); loosely install side brackets on vehicle (this page);
install center section assembly (page 2-3); tighten all fasteners to proper specifications (page 1)
1. Remove existing 14mm hex bolt from the weldnut in the end of frame rail using a 18mm socket.
2. Raise side bracket up to the vehicle frame aligning hole 1 with existing weldnut.
3. Using the removed 14mm hex bolt from step 1, loosely install the 14mm hex bolt, ⅝" flat washer, and ⅝"
lock washer into existing weldnuts in the frame.
4. Place ½" X 2" carriage bolt with ¼" spacer block through existing hole in vehicle frame and through hole 4
in the side bracket.
5. Install ½" flat washer, lock washer, and hex nut onto the ½" X 2 carriage bolt.
6. Repeat steps 1 thru 5 for the other side of the vehicle frame.
7. Install center section per SIDE BRACKET LOCATION 3. (See page 3.)
