C - COMBUSTION HEAD ADJUSTMENT
The adjustment of the combustion head is obtained in function of the maximum capacity, see diagram here below.
The adjustment should be made by turning the screw A
till the set-point (see diagram) is on the line with the wa-
sher B.
EXAMPLE
The burner should be matched with a boiler rated at 1.600.000 kcal/h. Considering an efficency of 90% we need to
obtain 1.800.000 kcal/h that means to burner approx. 183 kg/h.
From the diagram of page 9, with a medium pressure in delivery of 25 bar, for 180 kg/h we detect:
- nozzle type W2 - 180 - 50°
- maximum pressure in the return line 19.5 bar.
So from the above diagram, the combustion head should be set at the set-point 8.
