5.3 Filling and bleeding
1. Fill the system.
2. The pump rotor space bleeds automatically
after a short time in operation. This may cause
noises. If necessary, switch off and on repeat-
edly to accelerate the bleeding. Dry running
for short periods will not harm the pump.
5.4 Setting the time
The clock timer of the Star-Z NOVA C versions
can be commissioned as follows:
1 LCD display area;
2 WEEK button – set the day of the week;
3 HOUR button – hour setting;

4 CLOCK button – real-time setting;

5 PROG button – push and release to set or

change programmed on and off times;
6 ON/AUTO/OFF button –push and release to
manually switch AUTO OFF, ON, AUTO ON, or
OFF at any time;
7 R button – clear all the programs and real time
with a sharp object such as a pencil;
8 MINUTE button – minute setting;
9 R/RECALL button – clear a program setting;
10POWER – LED red is lit when the timer is in
operation.
