7. LIGHTING INSTRUCTION

Caution: The lid must be open when lighting the burner !
Lighting instruction:
1.
Turn the control knob clockwise to close the control valve
2.
Open the gas bottle valve, and regulator, then open the lid
3.
Turn the Control Valve ¼ turn (this will release the Gas into the burner) and at the same time push the Igniter several times.
4.
If the burner does not light, close the control valve, wait for 5 minutes, then repeat 2, 3
8. STORAGE
Your gas bottle must be stored outdoors in a well-ventilated area and must be disconnected from your barbecue when not being used. Ensure that
you are outdoors and away from any sources of ignition before attempting to disconnect your gas bottle from your barbecue.
When using your barbecue after a period of storage, check for gas leaks and for any obstructions in the burner etc. before use. Follow the cleaning
instructions to ensure the barbecue is safe. If the barbecue is stored outdoors check that all areas under the front panel are free from any obstruction
(insects etc.) This area must be kept free since obstruction may affect the flow of combustion or air.

9. CLEANING INSTRUCTION

Follow these helpful tips:
Turn the burner on for 5 to 10 minutes. Grease will then be burned off and Flame Tamer Plate.
Ensure the appliance is cold before continuing. Grills should be cleaned periodically by soaking and washing in soapy water. Use a wire brush, steel
wool or a scouring pad to remove stubborn spots.
The interior surfaces of the grill housing cover should also be washed with hot soapy water.
Regularly clean the Drip oil box from excess oil or fat.
Periodically check the burner to see that it is free from insects and spiders which may block the gas system.
Clean the venturi tube on the burner very carefully, checking to see it is free of obstructions. We recommend that you use a pipe cleaner to clean the
venturi tube area.
Any modifications of this appliance may be dangerous and is not permitted.
10. BARBECUE SAFETY HINTS
* Place your barbecue on a safe level surface, away from inflammable items such as wooden fences or overhanging trees.
Never use your barbecue indoors!
* Once lit do not move your barbecue or leave it unattended.
* Keep children and pets at a safe distance for the barbecue.
* Keep a fire extinguisher handy.
* Remember that hot fat may drip out at the bottom of the fire bowl.
* The barbecue will become hot when in use, so handle lid etc. with mits/gloves.
* Ensure that the appliance has completely cooled down before storing.
