• The filter is placed in front of the spout. If wet, open the lid and
place the filter under running tap water to be rinsed. If dry, brush
particles away gently.
• Never clean the filter when the appliance is filled with hot water.
DESCALING
Descale regularly, preferably at least once a month, or more frequently
depending on use.
To de-scale your kettle (using white vinegar):
- Fill the kettle with ½ L of Vinegar.
- Leave to stand 1 hour without heating.
To de-scale your kettle (using citric acid):
- Boil ½ L of water.
- Add 25g of citric acid and leave to stand for 15 minutes.
To de-scale your kettle using a specific de-scaler:
- Follow instructions.
- Empty your kettle.
- Rinse 5 to 6 times.
To de-scale your filter:
- Soak the filter in white vinegar or diluted citric acid.
- Never use a de-scaling method other that those
recommended.
PROBLEMS
Kettle does not work or stops before coming to a boil:
• Kettle has not been properly connected.
• Kettle has been switched on without water.
• An accumulation of scale has caused the overheat cut out to
operate.
Solutions:
• Descale first if scale has accumulated before using.
• Allow the kettle to cool and fill with water again.
• Connect appliance properly.
