Putting into service
Use a clean lubricate air supply that will give a measured air pressure of the tool of 90 p.s.i. / 6.3 bar when the tool is
running with the trigger/level fully depressed. Air supply should be lubricated. It is strongly recommended that an air filer,
regulator, lubricator is used.
If such equipment is not used the tool should be lubricated by shutting of the air supply to the tool, de-pressurising the
line by pressing the trigger on the tool. Disconnect the air line and pour into the intake bushing a teaspoonful (5m1) of a
suitable pneumatic motor lubricating oil, preferably incorporating a rust inhibitor. Reconnect tool to air supply and run tool
for a few seconds to allow air to circulate the oil.
Operating
Select the suitable chisel size; see figure 020 and make sure that all screws and parts are securely fixed to the tool.
Do not use any power or additional weights, all chisels are working by themselves. The cleaning of certain materials may
create a hazardous dust, it is always recommended to use safety glasses and a breathing mask.
Also wear EAR and EYE protectors. If there are sharp areas on the surface to be cleaned, safety gloves are
Maintenance / Dismantling / Assembly
• Oil the chisel hammer daily through the air intake connection (all 6-8 hours – 5-10 drops)
• After you have finished to work, disconnect the hose from the tool, put some lubricating oil into the valves opening,
reconnect the pneumatic hose and run the tool for about 2-3 seconds without chisel. Thus, almost no rust/scale can be
created.
• Considering the above instructions, the chisel hammer can even be used after a longer break.
