    Caution! Before installing and operating with the unit, carefully read this manual. I. UNIT DESCRIPTION AND FUNCTIONS BLANCONE ARCUS bleaching device is designed to bleach the solid tooth tissue by photoactivation of a whitening gel applied in dentistry. The appliance should only be used by a dental practitioner and in a dental practice. The device consists of a Bleaching Head, Stand and a Power Adapter.

    V. INSTALLATION BLANCONE ARCUS is intended for use as an autonomous appliance. Use the device indoors and only on a horizontal surface (floor). Unpack the transport boxes, remove the components and initially assemble the base with the 5 wheels. Mount the vertical arm to the center of the base.
  • Page 9 The horizontal arm allows movement in vertical direction. A fixing ball locks the horizontal arm and the bleaching head into a suitable position. Connect the cable from the bleaching head to the one from the front of the horizontal arm using the connectors (see figure).

    VI. PREPARATION FOR OPERATION The BLANCONE ARCUS bleaching device should be placed in a suitable position around the patient and the dental unit. See the positioning examples (p.IX). The bleaching head must be in the same vertical plane and parallel with the arc of the teeth with a distance between 5-15 cm.

    To Stop the bleaching device at any time press the START / STOP button. If the device is not manually stopped it will stop after the selected time has elapsed. Note that the fans will continue to work for some time in order to cool down the unit. At the end of the day turn off the device by holding down the Start / Stop button for 3-4 seconds or by disconnecting it from the power network.

    VIII. PREPARATION FOR WORK WITH PATIENTS Before starting work with the bleaching device, insulate the pa- tient’s non-calcified soft tissue, place a cover or protective napkin on the face, apply protective UV cream and put on protective glasses. The bleaching gel is applied according to the directions for use outlined by the gel manufacturer.

    V. INSTALLAZIONE BLANCONE ARCUS deve essere utilizzato come dispositivo autonomo. L’utilizzo deve avvenire all’in- terno e su di una superficie orizzontale (pavimento). Aprire la scatola, rimuovere i componenti ed iniziare con l’assemblaggio della base e delle 5 ruote. Montare il braccio verticale nel centro della base.
  • Page 23 Il braccio orizzontale permette il movimento nella direzione verticale. Una sfera di fissaggio blocca il braccio orizzontale e la testa sbian- cante nella posizione adeguata. Connettere il cavo della testa sbiancante a quello che si trova nella parte anteriore del braccio orizzontale utilizzando i connettori (vedi figura).

PREPARAZIONE ALL’USO CON I PAZIENTI Prima di iniziare il lavoro con il dispositivo per lo sbiancamento, oc- corre isolare i tessuti molli non calcificati del paziente, posizionare una protezione o un tessuto protettivo sul volto, applicare crema protettiva con filtro UV e indossare occhiali di protezione. Il gel sbiancante viene applicato secondo le istruzioni per l’uso indica- te dal produttore del gel.

BESCHREIBUNG UND FUNKTIONEN DER LAMPE Die Bleachinglampe BLANCONE ARCUS ist für die Aufhellung der harten Zahngewebe durch die Lichtaktivierung eines Bleichgels entworfen, das in der zahnärztlichen Praxis verwendet wird. Das Gerät darf nur von Zahnärzten in der Zahnarztpraxis verwendet werden.

    V. INSTALLATION BLANCONE ARCUS muss als selbständiges Gerät verwendet werden. Die Verwendung muss in einem Raum und auf einer horizontalen Fläche (Fußboden) erfolgen. Öffnen Sie die Schachtel, entfernen Sie die Bauteile und beginnen Sie mit dem Zusammenbau der Basis und der 5 Räder. Montieren Sie den vertikalen Arm in die Mitte der Basis.
  • Page 37 Der horizontale Arm erlaubt die Bewegung in die vertikale Richtung. Eine Kugelklemme ver- riegelt den horizontalen Arm und den Blea- ching-Kopf in der passenden Position. Schließen Sie das Kabel des Bleaching-Kopfs an das Kabel auf der Vorderseite des horizon- talen Arms an und verwenden Sie dazu die Stecker (siehe Abbildung).

    VI. VORBEREITUNG ZUM GEBRAUCH Die Bleachinglampe BLANCONE ARCUS muss korrekt neben dem Patienten und der Behan- dlungseinheit positioniert werden. Siehe die Positionierungsbeispiele (Seite IX). Der Blea- ching-Kopf muss sich auf derselben vertikalen Ebene und in paralleler Position zum Zahnbo- gen in einem Abstand zwischen 5 und 15 cm befinden. Siehe die Positionierungsbeispiele (Seite X).

    Wenn eine der Tasten TIMER + / TIMER - während den Operationen gedrückt wird, geht die Lampe in die Betriebsart Pause. Das blinkende Display mit der verbleibenden Zeit gibt an, dass das Gerät in Pause ist. Der Betrieb wird wieder aufgenommen, wenn Sie erneut die Taste TIMER + / TIMER - drücken.

    V. INSTALLATION BLANCONE ARCUS est un dispositif autonome. Le dispositif doit être utilisé à l’intérieur et sur une surface horizontale (sol). Ouvrir la boîte, prélever les éléments et commencer à assembler le piètement et les 5 roulettes. Monter le bras vertical au centre du piètement Monter le bras horizontal du support, puis le fixer en serrant la vis de blocage latéral...
  • Page 51 Le bras horizontal autorise le mouvement à la verticale. Une boule de fixation bloque le bras horizontal et la tête blanchissante dans la po- sition souhaitée. Connecter le câble de la tête blanchissante au câble situé à l’avant du bras horizontal en utilisant les connecteurs (voir figure).

    XI. DÉPANNAGE Le dispositif ne fonctionne pas. Vérifier que le câble d’alimentation de l’adaptateur est branché sur le réseau électrique et que tous les connecteurs sont bien positionnés. Câble d’alimentation endommagé. Ne pas utiliser le dispositif ! Éteindre et envoyer immédiatement en maintenance. Le patient ressent une sensation thermique désagréable ou irritante.

    V. INSTALACIÓN La BLANCONE ARCUS debe utilizarse como un dispositivo autónomo. Se debe utilizar en interiores y sobre una superficie horizontal (suelo). Abra la caja, extraiga los componentes y proceda al montaje de la base y las cinco ruedas Monte el brazo vertical en el centro de la base.

Conecte el cable del cabezal de blanquea- miento al que se encuentra en la parte ante- rior del brazo horizontal utilizando los conec- tores (véase la figura).

    VI. PREPARACIÓN PARA EL USO La lámpara de blanqueamiento BLANCONE ARCUS se debe colocar correctamente al lado del paciente y la unidad dental. Véanse los ejemplos de posicionamiento (p. IX). El cabezal de blanqueamiento debe estar en el mismo plano vertical y en una posición pa- ralela respecto al arco dental, a una distancia de entre 5 y 15 cm.

    Si se pulsa cualquiera de los botones TIMER + / TIMER - durante las operaciones, la lámpara entrará en el modo de pausa. Una pantalla intermitente con el tiempo restante indica que el dispositivo está en pausa. El funcionamiento se reanudará volviendo a pulsar el botón TIMER + / TIMER -.

    XI. PROBLEMAS Y SOLUCIONES El dispositivo no funciona. Compruebe que el cable de alimentación del adaptador esté conectado a la red eléctrica y que todos los conectores estén colocados correctamente. Cable de alimentación dañado. No utilice el dispositivo. Apáguelo y envíelo inmediatamente al servicio de mantenimiento. Sensación térmica desagradable o molesta por parte del paciente.

DESCRIÇÃO E FUNÇÕES DA LÂMPADA A lâmpada de branqueamento BLANCONE ARCUS foi concebida para o branqueamento de teci- dos dentários duros, através da fotoativação de um gel branqueador utilizado na medicina dentária. O dispositivo pode ser utilizado apenas por dentistas no consultório.

    V. INSTALAÇÃO BLANCONE ARCUS deve ser utilizado como dispositivo autónomo. Destina-se a uso interior e sobre uma superfície horizontal (pavimento). Abrir a caixa, retirar os componentes e começar a montagem da base e das 5 rodas. Montar o braço vertical no centro da base.
  • Page 79 O braço horizontal permite o movimento na direção vertical. Uma esfera de fixação bloqueia o braço horizontal e a cabeça de branqueamento na posição adequada. Ligar o cabo da cabeça de branqueamen- to ao que se encontra na parte frontal do braço horizontal utilizando os conectores (ver figura).

    VI. PREPARAÇÃO PARA A UTILIZAÇÃO A lâmpada de branqueamento BLANCONE ARCUS deve ser corretamente posicionada junto ao paciente e à unidade dentária. Ver os exemplos de posicionamento (p. IX). A cabeça de branqueamento deve encontrar-se no mesmo plano vertical e na posição paralela em relação ao arco dentário, a uma distância entre 5 e 15 cm.
