Installation for plastic Kirami hot tubs
Heater for plastic tubs is connected with rubber hoses to the
Ø75mm PVC pipes on the tub. In this installation the heater is
placed on the same level with the tub so both are directly in
contact with ground. And the heater is not hanging in the air.
On some plastic tubs this means that you have to add some
support under the heater e.g. concrete slabs or bricks. In the
left picture plastic tub connection pipes. On the right side you
see an example of MACU connected with plastic tub.
Installation further away from the tub
The standard heater should not be installed further away from the tub. If you are planning
installation further away from the tub you should purchase an extension tube set with intermediate pipes,
extra clamps and rubber hoses. When installing further away the heater must be a bit lower than the
tub so that the natural circulation of heated water works
Note that a heater that is installed lower will not empty properly which may cause a risk of freezing
in winter. In case the heater installed further away, the heater must have supports underneath.
FIRE SAFETY
If the heater is located near buildings,
for example on the side of a terrace, the
distance of the chimney from any
combustible
materials
must
be
adequate. Remember to check the
distance both laterally and vertically so
that there isn't any risk of fire. Local
rules may vary.
Notice also the fire safety in front of
the furnace. There shouldn't be any
combustible materials in front of the
furnace. There should be an area, which
is demonstrated in the picture that
should be made of incombustible material such as concrete, sand or metal.
