The Germ Guardian™ UV-C Sanitizer Wand Kills up to 99% of targeted bacteria
and viruses. Also reduces odors and allergens like mold and dust mites.
Pass light wand over household surfaces to kill up to 99% of targeted germs without the use
of harmful chemicals. Hospitals use UV-C light to sanitize surfaces and eliminate germs.

· Warning: Do not use outdoors or on wet surfaces.
· Do not allow to be used as a toy. Close attention is necessary when used by or
near children or animals.
· Use only as described in this manual.
· Do not use with damaged cord or plug. If appliance is not working as it should, has been
dropped, damaged, left outdoors, or dropped into water, return it to the manufacturer.
· Do not abuse the cord. Never carry the charger by the cord or yank to disconnect from an
outlet; instead grasp the charger and pull to disconnect. Keep cord away from heated
surfaces. Do not pull cord around sharp edges or corners. Do not close door on the charger
cord. If cord or product is damaged do not use.
· Do not handle plug or appliance with wet hands.
· Unplug the power supply from the outlet before any routine cleaning or maintenance.
· Turn off all controls before unplugging.
· Leaks from battery cells can occur under extreme conditions. If the liquid gets on the skin
(1) wash quickly with soap and water or (2) neutralize with a mild acid such as lemon juice
or vinegar. If the liquid gets into the eyes, flush them immediately with clean water for a
minimum of 10 minutes. Seek medical attention.
· Use only the power supply supplied by the manufacturer.

What is UV-C and why is it so effective at destroying germs like bacteria,
viruses, and mold?
UV-C is part of the ultraviolet light spectrum that is filtered out by the earth's atmosphere. The "C"
stands for the particular frequency of UV light that kills germs, (200nm to 280nm). UV-C light is
highly effective at killing microorganisms. Hospitals use UV-C light to sanitize surfaces and to
eliminate germs.
