Problem Solution
The device is Check the following points in order to find and eliminate
not found by the the error.
DeviceDiscoveryTool.
Î Check if the power supply to the device is established.
Î Check if the network cable is properly connected at
both ends!
Î Alternatively check the WLAN connection.
Î Check if the firewall software of the computer inhibits
the connection to the device.
Î Switch off the firewall software and use the Device-
DiscoveryTool to find the device.
Î When the device has been found, the firewall software
has to be reconfigured.
Î Activate the firewall software!
Î Check if an IP address is assigned to the device.
An IP address has to be assigned to the device by a router.
