CHARGING SYSTEMS - RESONANCE FREQUENCY TECHNOLOGY
for Lithium-Ion batteries
1
General
1.1
Purpose of the operating instructions
Purpose of these operating instructions is to explain the functioning, safety regulations and displays of the charger. To
ensure the safe handling of this charger, the operating instructions must in any case be read by each person using the
charger.
1.2
Warranty
This product is covered by the implied warranty within the framework of our general terms and conditions. Prerequisite for
the allowance of warranty claims is in any case the intended use of the charger.
1.3
Intended use
The charger is intended exclusively for the charging of a lithium battery. The battery data (battery voltage, battery capacity,
battery type) corresponding to these chargers are stated on the nameplate. The charger is not suitable for non-
rechargeable batteries.
To charge the battery, follow the instructions of the battery manufacturer.
1.4
Device information
The charger is housed in a sheet steel case. It is short-circuit proof and protected against reverse polarity. The mains
connection is made via a permanently installed protective contact mains plug (CEE 7/7). Only the supplied accessories are
to be used.
A microfuse 5x20mm is used as mains fuse. A replacement is only to be made with the same value (T 10 AH 250V).
The charger must not be opened or manipulated. If the charger's power supply cable or battery cable is damaged, it must
be replaced by the customer service or a similarly qualified person. The same applies to the replacement of fuses.

Safety advice
2.1
General safety advice
If the safety regulations and the manufacturer's operating instructions are not observed, this can lead to defects, material
damage or personal injury. In addition, any warranty claim will be void.
The charger is protection class 1. Therefore, only use a power cable with a protective earth contact to connect it to a
properly installed socket outlet with earthing contact (230V AC, 50-60Hz), which is secured by a time-lag fuse.
In the event of a defect, the charger must not be connected to the mains supply or must be disconnected immediately by
pulling the mains plug. Unplug the charger when not in use.
2.2
Requirements on the place of use
The charger may only be used in closed, frost-free and dry rooms. The ambient temperatures at the place of use must not
fall below 0°C and not exceed +35°C.
The place of use must be selected in such a way as to ensure that the ventilation openings are not covered and that the
cooling air stream is not hindered. The charger must not be placed in the vicinity of radiators or other heat sources. Heat
accumulation at the charger, e.g. by blocking the ventilation openings, must be excluded.
The place of use must not be excessively dusty. The occurrence of electrically conductive dust (salt, soot, metals) must be
excluded. The distance to hazardous and explosive areas must be at least 5 m.
The charger is designed as a stand-alone or wall-mounted unit. Therefore, place it on its feet or mount it properly on a wall.
