Limitation of reuse preparation: Frequent re-preparation has only a minimal effect on
this product. The end of the product's useful life is normally due to wear and tear and damage
by use. It is recommended that instruments be re-prepared as soon as possible after their use.
Instructions
Storage and transport: no special requirements.
Cleaning preparation: no special requirements.
Manual cleaning: Wipe the reflex hammer clean with a damp cloth or a surface cleaning
agent. Please heed the concentrations specified by the manufacturer of the cleaning agent.
Disinfection: Disinfectants and cleaning solutions can be used with appropriate concentra-
tions and in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions. If the concentration is too weak,
the solution will be ineffective. If the concentration is too strong, it may cause damage to
the instrument. Heed the given contact times! Disinfectant and cleaning solutions are to be
replaced regularly as they lose their effectiveness with use.
The hammers themselves may not be sterilised. Disinfection is the first step that is to be car-
ried out when cleaning contaminated objects and materials. The goal here is to reduce the
number of microorganisms and facilitate the subsequent cleaning process. It is very impor-
tant to prevent impurities from drying onto the instrument/material. The disinfection process
also serves to protect the personnel while they are handling the instruments, as well as the
surrounding environment. This selected disinfection process is to be carried out, if possible,
directly at the location in which the instruments were used and as soon as possible after their
use.
Sterilisation: The needles can be successfully sterilised as follows: fractionated pre-vacuum
(3 times), sterilisation temperature: min. 132 °C, max. 137 °C, retention time: at least 3 min
(complete cycle), drying time: 10 min.
Maintenance: remove and replace damaged parts.
