6. When you have completed the groove,
turn the wall chaser off using the on/off
switch (3).
7. Wait for the cutting discs to come to a
complete stop.
8. Carefully pull the cutting discs (7) out
of the cut groove and put the wall
chaser down.
9 Chip out the resulting ridge between
the grooves using the hand chisel.
Never chip out the ridge with the
cutting discs. Risk of injury and
breakage of the cutting discs.
Emptying the dust bag
1. Remove the suction hose (25) from
the wall chaser.
2. Hold the full dust bag (24) over a
dustbin.
3. Open the dust bag (24) by pulling the
closure (26) off the dust bag.
4. Empty the dust bag (24)
5. Pull the closure back onto the dust
bag (26).

Cleaning and maintenance

Pull the mains plug before any ad-
justments, maintenance or repair.

Cleaning

Do not use any cleaning agent or
solvent. Chemical substances can
etch the plastic parts of the device.
Never clean the device under run-
ning water.
• Thoroughly clean the device after
every use.
• Clean the ventilation openings and the
surface of the device with a soft brush
or cloth.

Maintenance

Have any work on the device
that is not described in this in-
struction guide performed by a
professional. Only use original
parts. Allow the device to cool
off before any maintenance or
cleaning is undertaken. There is
a risk of burning!
Always check the device before using it
for obvious deficiencies such as loose,
worn or damaged parts, correct the po-
sitioning of screws or other parts. Check
the diamond cutting disc in particular. Ex-
change the damaged parts.
Cutting discs can become blunt or de-
stroyed by overheating. An overheated
(blue) cutting disc can usually no longer
be resharpened.
If the replacement of the supply cord is
necessary, this has to be done by the
manufacturer or his agent in order to
avoid a safety hazard.

Storage

• Store the appliance in a dry place well
out of reach of children.
• Diamond cutting discs must be dry
and stored upright and should never
be stacked.
