START-UP
Before installing the power pump, ensure that the
impeller turns freely without the pump connected to the
power line: to do this, you can reach the impeller (or in
the MASTER power pumps, the rotary part of the grinder)
through the suction mouth.
On three-phase pumps check that the rotation direction is correct,
i.e. clockwise when looking at the pump from above (on the power
pump, check the arrow near the delivery mouth); to do this before
installing the pump, suspend the power pump and start the motor
for a few seconds (on and off): if the rotation direction is not correct,
the power pump gives a recoil in anti-clockwise direction.
When you perform this test, ensure that the pump is at a safe distance from people,
animals and property.
To change the rotation direction, invert the two phases on the power line.
The rotation direction does not need checking on single-phase pumps.
