ARCHED LED WALL FITTING WITH MOTION DETECTOR
Read the complete manual before carrying out the installation and activating the system. Keep
the manual for future reference.
1. DESCRIPTION
This is an adaptable and energy-efficient luminaire with a stylish design. With its homogeneous lighting effect,
the lamp ensures superior lighting in all conditions. As this lamp is equipped with a built-in PIR sensor, it only
switches on when necessary.
As soon as someone is detected, the light is switched on daylight-dependent. The lamp only switches on once
the set daylight condition (twilight level) is no longer reached and remains active as long as human movement
is detected.
This manual applies to the following lamp types:
352-02810
colour
light grey
These lamp types are also available without the built-in PIR sensor (see reference numbers 352-08985 and
352-08986).
2. USE
These types of lamps are suitable for use both indoors and outdoors. Attach the lamp to a suitable flat wall
using the fittings supplied.
Be aware of the following during installation (see fig. 1):
• The motion sensor is most sensitive to movements passing through the detection area (see fig. 1a). The
sensitivity to movements directly towards the sensor is about 50% less (see Fig. 1).
• As the movement sensor reacts to the temperature difference between heat sources and the ambient temperature,
the detection range changes according to the circumstances of the mounting position.
• The detection range can be reduced by masking the lens.
• Keep a safe 1 metre distance from lamps mounted at the same height.
• Avoid heat and cold sources in the immediate detection range and below the lamp itself.
The light source of this luminaire is not replaceable; when the light source reaches its end of life the whole
luminaire shall be replaced.
3. OPERATION
This lamp has a built-in passive infrared sensor (PIR) which responds to the displacement of heat caused by
persons and their movements. If the sensor detects movement, the lamp switches on automatically. Once
the set time (approx. 60 s to 6 min) after the final detection has lapsed, the lamp automatically switches off.
4. MOUNTING
The lamp is designed for mounting on the wall at a height of 1 to 2 m. The diameter of the detection area
depends on the mounting height (see fig. 1).
Mounting:
1. Remove the screws at the back of the lamp and hold the base with wiring clamps (see fig. 2).
2. Insert the power supply cable through the cable inlet in the base (see fig. 2).
3. Mark the drill holes on the wall and drill the holes the same size as the plugs provided (see fig. 3).
4. Firmly press the plugs into the drill holes (see fig. 3).
5. Attach the base with wiring clamps to the wall using the screws supplied (see fig. 3).
6. Connect the wires as shown in the wiring diagram (see fig. 8 and also § 5).
7. Attach the fitting to the base and tighten the screws once again. (see fig. 5)
8. Set the desired settings for the PIR sensor (see § 6).
5. WIRING
Connect the detector as shown in the wiring diagram in Fig. 7.

Earthing
Switched phase for continuous light mode with switch (bridging) or parallel connection
of a maximum of one extra lamp
The connected phase L' can be used for parallel connection of up to one similar additional load. It is recommended
to pass additional load through an external relay.
6. CONFIGURATION
Once connected to the power supply the lamp takes 1 minute to warm up (the light shines continuously).
After this warming up period, the lamp is ready for use. The PIR detector settings can be changed using the
potentiometers on the device. These can be found under the cover just above the detector lens. Turn this by
90° to reveal the potentiometers (see fig. 6).
6.1. Light sensitivity
Using the LUX potentiometer, you can set the threshold value of the twilight switch continuously between
(night mode, 5 lux) and ƒð (daytime mode, 2000 lux) (see fig. 6). The light is only switched on once the set
threshold value is reached.
6.2. Switch-off delay
Using the TIME potentiometer, the switch-off delay is set between 60 s to 6 min (see fig. 5b).

Solution
• The threshold value is set too low. Increase the threshold value.
• Check the lighting and the fuse.
• The threshold value is set too high. Decrease the threshold value.
• Check detection area for causes of incorrectly switching on (heat sources,
draft, etc. )
• Reduce the chances of errors by masking the lens
• Check detection area for causes of incorrectly switching on (heat sources,
draft, etc. )
• Check that the continuous light mode is active (i.e. that the L' clamp
is bridged.
