1. Warranties
All products manufactured by VOGT Baugeräte GmbH are subject to
the conditions of this warranty. The warranty issued to the original
purchaser of the product states that the products supplied are free
of material or processing defects. Aspects that are not covered by the
warranty are explained in the section "Warranty exemptions".
2. Start of the warranty period
The warranty period starts on the date of delivery of the product. The
delivery is deemed to have occurred on the day of handing over the
product (delivery note/date). The product is deemed to have been put
into use on the day on which VOGT Baugeräte GmbH or an authorised
distribution partner handed the product over to the purchaser unless
a written agreement to the contrary has been made.
3. Warranty period
The warranty period is twelve (12) months.
At VOGT Hammer, VOGT TurboSpade, VOGT Air Lance, VOGT Soil Ae-
rator and VOGT Air Injector it can be extended to 24 months, through
online registration wihin 14 days after purchase.
4. Warranty claims
The purchaser must contact the seller of the product immediately if a
problem occurs that the purchaser believes is covered by the limited
product warranty. This contact must be made as quickly as possib-
le and within thirty (30) days of the problem occurring at the latest.
The seller and/or manufacturer's technical personnel will initially
determine the type of problem, generally by telephone or email. The
purchaser is obliged to provide the necessary information and carry
out a routine investigation of causes so that the type of problem and
subsequent procedure can be determined.
5. Repairs under warranty
If the product is deemed to be defective during the warranty period,
VOGT Baugeräte GmbH will decide whether to repair the product
itself, have it repaired in an authorised service centre or replace the
defective product. If the problem is not covered by the limited warran-
ty, VOGT Baugeräte GmbH is entitled to charge the purchaser for the
fault diagnostic and repair.
6. Delivery conditions for repairs under warranty
Devices that will be returned must be sent to VOGT Baugeräte GmbH
or to another location authorised by VOGT Baugeräte GmbH and sui-
tably packaged for transportation at the purchaser's expense.
The transportation documents must include the following:
- Name of the purchaser and contact details
- Copy of the proof of purchase
- Description of the problem
