the front attachment lift is in the tran-
sport position. This will destroy the belt
drive.

gage the PTO.

6.10 HOUR METER (12:A)

Only works when the engine is running.

6.11 CUTTING HEIGHT ADJUSTMENT (11:E)

The machine is equipped with a control for using
the cutting means with electrical cutting height
adjustment.
The switch allows the user to continuously
adjust the cutting height.
The cutting means are connected to the contact
(12:B).
6.12 TRANSMISSION ENGAGE/DISENGAGE
LEVER (13; 14)
A lever for disengaging the variable transmission.
2WD is equipped with a lever, con-
nected to the rear axle. See (13:A).
4WD is equipped with two levers,
connected to the rear axle (14:A) and the front
axle (14:B).
The engagement/release lever must
never be between the outer and inner
positions. This overheats and damages
the transmission.
The levers allow the user to move the machine
manually (pushing or pulling), without the engine
running.
The two positions are:
Transmission engaged (13:A1; 14:A1-B1) -
transmission engaged for normal operation.
Transmission disengaged (13:A2; 14:A2-B2) -
transmission disengaged. The machine can be
moved by hand.

3. Release the control lever (15:A) to lock the
seat.
The seat is equipped with a safety switch that is
connected to the machine's safety system.
This means that when no-one is sitting in the seat
the machine cannot be started. (see 7.6.2).

6.14 BONNET

See 5.2 for how to access the fuel cock,
battery and engine.

6.15 QUICK-RELEASE SUPPORTS

These support allows the user to swap
from one attachment to another quickly
and easily.
The quick-release supports allow the user to move
the cutting means assembly quickly and easily
between two positions, i.e.:
• Normal position with the belt fully tensioned.
• Positioned 4 cm behind the normal position,
with the belt slackened, so that the cutting
means assembly moves closer to the base of
the machine.
Being as the belt tensioner is released from the
belt, the quick-release supports simplify belt and
cutting means assembly replacement, and also
make shifting to the washing position and service
positions easier.
