Chose your WLAN using "Select" and confi rm using "Connect". In case your WLAN network
is not displayed, click "Refresh".
Be sure to check whether the encryption is set correctly and enter the WLAN password.
Confi rm using "Save".
Wait until the connection is established and the window shows the message "Connect to...
successfully". Then click on "OK".
In case the connection is not established, check the properties and try again.
• The confi guration is now complete. Close the web browser and change the IP address of
your LAN connection back to its original.
After the confi guration
• After successful confi guration, position the repeater in an appropriate place. The best posi-
tion would be centered between your router and the furthermost place where the WLAN
should be available. Note that the repeater has to be in the router's range of coverage.
The device can also be mounted on a wall. Therefore, use the slots on the bottom side.
• When the product is set up and connected to the power supply voltage, you can connect your
computer to the WLAN as usual. The SSID and the WLAN key have not changed.
Please note:
If you want to connect your computer to the WLAN using WPS, only use the WPS
function of your router, not that of the repeater.
• You can also connect the computer to the LAN socket of the repeater using a network cable
(1:1 connected).
If you need more than one network gateway, you can expand it with a network switch.
• No matter how your computer is connected to the repeater, you always get the IP address
from your router, not from the repeater.
If you change the confi guration of your WLAN, you may have to reconnect the re-
peater to the router after the change.
Resetting to Factory Settings
On the back side, on the right, next to the WLAN antenna, a countersunk reset button can be
found, with which the repeater can be reset to the factory settings.
Connect the repeater to the wall power supply and put it into the power supply plug, if this has
not been done already. Wait about 20 seconds until the self test has fi nished. Hold the reset
button for about 10 seconds until the power LED starts blinking. Let go of the button.
The repeater restarts; this takes about 20 seconds. Then the repeater is reset to the factory
settings (IP address 192.168.2.250; username "admin" and password "password").
