9. The device may not be used for any purpose other than the intended purpose. The use of accessories not recom-
mended by the manufacturer can lead to hazardous situations.
10. Do not operate or store the device in places with a risk of frost.
11. Never carry the device by the cable!
12. Make sure the device has been installed safely prior to first-time operation.
13. The device may only be used indoors. Only intended for aquatics purposes.
14. Do not use the device if the cable, power plug or housing is damaged!
15. If the power cable of the device is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer or its customer service or a
person of similar qualification in order to avoid hazards.
16. CAUTION – Prior to performing maintenance work, switch off all devices in the aquarium or pond or disconnect
the power plug.
17. Disconnect all electrical devices in the aquarium from the power supply before working on the device or the
aquarium.
18. Avoid an electric shock by NEVER immersing the device, the power plug or the power cable in water or other
fluids.
