the griddle (A) so that either the ribbed or the smooth part are facing up –
depending on the type of food you are grilling.
– Note the fat drain opening on the front part of the griddle. The opening allows
unimpeded draining of fat onto the drip tray.
– Rotate the left knob on the appliance to set the height of the left foot, so that the
grill is supported and completely stable on a solid and high-temperature-resistant
surface.
– Place the food you wish to grill onto the griddle (A).
– Insert the plug into the electrical outlet. If the appliance is powered, the white
indicator light (F) will be lit. The white indicator light will be on as long as the
appliance is connected to the power mains.
– Use the dial on the right side of the appliance (E) to set the desired operating
power (to increase the temperature, rotate the dial counter-clockwise). When the
heater (D) is heating the griddle, the red indicator light (F) will be lit.
A variety of settings is provided in the table below for guidance.
TEMPERATURE SETTINGS
Low temperature – to keep the food warm
Medium temperature – for thorough grilling (well-done)
High temperature – for quick grilling that keeps the juices in the
food
Very high temperature – for quick searing
– When the red indicator light (F) goes off, this means that the grilling temperature
has been reached and that the grill is ready for use.
– The red indicator light (F) indicates that the grill is heating up, and it will remain lit
until the grill reaches the set temperature. Once the set temperature is reached, the
red indicator light will switch on and off periodically, indicating whether the heater
maintaining the set temperature is currently operating.
