Selecting a Programme
1. Activate the control panel by pressing any button.
2. Keep pressing the MENÜ (menu) button (23) until the fi eld for the programme you
want is marked. Alternatively, after pressing the MENÜ (menu) button you can use
the + / STUNDEN (hours) and – / MINUTEN (minutes) buttons to switch between
the programmes:
Reis (rice)*
Braten (roasting)*
Suppe (soup)*
Kuchen (cake)*
Pizza
Dämpfen (steaming)
Eintopf (stew)
Joghurt (yoghurt)
Frittieren (frying)
Pasta
Haferfl ocken (oat fl akes)
Auftauen (defrosting)
Anbraten (browning)
Milchreis (rice pudding)
Brot (bread)
Schnell Kochen (quick cooking)
Schongaren (slow cooking)
The preset temperatures and times are merely an indication. It is essential to
make sure prior to serving that meat and poultry in particular is fully cooked
through. It may be necessary to adjust the temperature and cooking time depending
on the size and weight of the food.
3. To change the cooking temperature, press the MANUELL/TEMPERATUR
(manual/temperature) button (28) and use the + / STUNDEN (hours) button ( 26 )
and – / MINUTEN (minutes) button ( 25 ) to set the temperature you want.
4. To change the cooking time, press the KOCHZEIT (cooking time) button (27)
and use the + / STUNDEN (hours) and – / MINUTEN (minutes) buttons to set the
cooking time you want.
5. Once the cooking temperature and cooking time have been set, press the START
button (21) to start the cooking process. The pot symbol fl ashes. For the REIS (rice),
BRATEN (roasting), SUPPE (soup) and KUCHEN (cake) programmes the display
shows the elapsed cooking time, and for the rest of the programmes it shows the
remaining cooking time.

The REIS (rice), BRATEN (roasting), SUPPE (soup) and KUCHEN (cake) programmes
do not have a programmed cooking time. It depends on the amount of food. When these
programmes are chosen, the display shows P-:--. The SUPPE (soup) programme must be
ended manually. The REIS (rice), BRATEN (roasting) and KUCHEN (cake) programmes
end automatically.
