Battery replacement
The service life of the digital display's battery is ap-
proximately one year, depending on use.
Battery replacement: Open up the battery compart-
ment. Remove the old battery. Insert the new battery
and close compartment. To do this, ALWAYS set the
tool all the way to its lowest setting BEFORE chang-
ing the battery.
After replacing the battery or opening the battery com-

tings where necessary.
Reset / Tool adjustment
CAUTION
Adjustments to the crimping tools should
only be carried out by an authorized techni-
cian, since improper adjustments can lead
to faulty crimps.
1 Using the dial, adjust the crimping die so that the
supplied plug gauge fits snugly into the space be-
tween the crimping spikes. In the process you
should make sure that the set size of the plug
gauge is always adjusted starting from a greater
value (for example, starting from 2.4 mm and going
down to a 2.0-mm plug gauge size).
2 Press the „ON" button and keep is pressed down. At
the same time, press the „MODE" button using the
plug gauge. Keep the „MODE" button pressed down
for at least four seconds. First release the „MODE"
button and then the „ON" button.
3 The digital display automatically jumps to a 2.0-mm
plug gauge value (shown as 0.00 in the digital dis-
play).
4 You may now set the crimping parameters.
