2. Clean and inspect the item and accessories (including paddle) after each use. Rinse
thoroughly to ensure that any residue or salt residue (when used in salt water) is
removed. Use mild soapy water. Do not use detergents. Make sure the item is completely
dry before storage.
3. Leave the valve open as you roll the board toward the valve. Close the valve to prevent
moisture and dirt from penetrating.
4. Please store your board in a clean and dry place that is protected from major
temperature changes and other harmful factors. You can roll up the board with deflated
air or slightly inflated (to ensure that the item is not deformed). Protect it from rodents.
Disassemble the paddle and store the individual parts separately.
REPAIR
Included in delivery is a PVC patch for repairing small holes. Most leaks can be repaired in a few
minutes.
Air Loss: If your board appears a little soft, there may not be a leak. The ambient temperature
influences the internal pressure of the chamber: A deviation of 1°C results in a pressure deviation
in the chamber of +/- 4 mBar (0.06 PSI). If the board was inflated late in the evening, the air may
cool down overnight. The cooler air results in lower pressure, so it can be soft the next morning.
If there is no temperature deviation, you must first find out where the air escapes.
Follow the procedure below:
1. Check for sand or dirt in the valve.
2. Make sure the valve seal is correctly positioned.
3. Flush the board and the valve body with soapy water.
4. Where bubbles form, there is a leak and must be repaired.
Small repairs:
Deflate the board. Clean the board thoroughly (vinyl cleaner can be used for this purpose) and
dry the area to be repaired. For a smaller hole, apply a small drop of glue (not included). Allow
the adhesive to dry for 12 hours. (For minor repairs, use a soft plastic adhesive that is waterproof
and heat-resistant).
Please note: For the repair, the air must be drained and the board must be flat.
1. Clean the surrounding surface thoroughly. Remove any dirt.
2. Cut off a piece of the original patch. The piece should be large enough to overlap the
damaged area by approximately 1.5 cm. Use a ballpoint pen to determine the size of the
patch. Round off the corners.
3. Apply a thin layer of adhesive (not supplied) to the underside of the patch and the area to
be repaired. Allow the adhesive to dry for 2 - 4 minutes until it appears milky.
