12.2 General Safety information

Please note
Please observe the following general safety notices with regard to the safe handling
of the device.
► Do not leave the device unsupervised when it is in operation.
► All cutters or blades are very sharp. Do not touch the cutting edge with hand.
► Do not use any accessories not recommended by the product manufacturer to avoid
danger.
► Avoid contacting moving parts.
► Always make sure that the transparent cover is clamped securely in place before motor
is turned on. Do not unfasten clamps while juicer is in operation.
► Be sure to turn switch to O position after each use of your juicer. Make sure the motor
stops completely before disassembling.
► Do not put your fingers or other objects into the juicer while operation. If there is food
stuck in the feeding port, only use the pushing bar or another piece of fruit/vegetable to
push it down. When this fails, turn off the device and disassemble juicer to remove the
remaining food.
► Do not use the appliance if the rotating sieve is damaged.
► When a separable pulp container is provided, do not operate without the pulp container
in place.
► Please firstly cut off the power and pull out the power plug before dismounting or
adjusting any accessory of the product.
► If the connection lead is damaged, you will need to have a new connection lead
installed by an authorized electrician.
► This appliance can be used by children aged 8 years and above and persons with
reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if
they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a
safe way and understand the hazards involved.
► Children shall not play with the appliance.
► Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children without supervision.
► Please do not alter the appliance in any way.
► The appliance should be used for limited period of time
► Examine the device for any visible external damages prior to using it.
► Never put a damaged device into operation.
► Only qualified electricians, who have been trained by the manufacturer, may carry out
any repairs that may be needed. Improperly performed repairs can cause considerable
dangers for the user.
► Only customer service departments authorized by the manufacturer may carry out
repairs on the device during the guarantee period, as otherwise the guarantee
entitlements will be null and void in the event of any subsequent damages.
► Do not overload the device and do not let it operate un-loaded.
► Switch off the device and remove the plug before changing accessories or touching
parts that move.
► Never immerse the device, cord or plug in water or other liquids and do not place in the
dishwasher.
► Do not use appliance for other than intended household use.
► Do not extract juice from any extremly hard food (e.g. nuts), fiber-rich food (e.g.
sugarcane) or food with little juice (e.g. banana).
