JUICE RECIPES
JUICED
FOR ACTION
• 2 apples
• 1 sticks celery
• ½ cucumber
• 1 beetroot (raw and unpeeled)
• 150 ml of coconut water
Perfect for any activity, pack in your
rucksack, golf or Gym bag! This juice has
the ideal balance of Sodium and Potassium
which help to prevent the build up of lactic
acid and cramps. The coconut water is
isotonic and helps replace any lost minerals
and fluid. The beetroot is full of Nitrates
which recent studies have shown lead to a
reduction in oxygen uptake making
exercise less tiring.
DETOX DREAM
• 2 apples
• 1 pear
• 1 carrot
• 1 stick celery
• ½ cucumber
• ½ yellow or red pepper
• 1 small raw beetroot
• 1 broccoli stem
• ½ unwaxed unpeeled lemon
Contains a rainbow of coloured vegetables
providing optimum nutrition whilst allowing
the body to detox naturally. Apples are the
king of any detox as the soluble fibre they
contain (pectin) forms a gel in the intestines
helping to sweep the gut and eliminate
toxins. The lemon cleans the liver and
kidneys.
SUNSHINE IN
A GLASS
• ½ pineapple (scrubbed, no need
to peel)
• 1 pink grapefruit or large orange if you
don't like grapefruit
• Thumb size chunk of unpeeled ginger
• Sparkling mineral water
Juice everything. Pour over ice in a tall glass
and top up with sparkling water with a ratio
of juice to water of 2:1. Sit back in the sun;
rehydrate, rejuvenate and enjoy!
JOINT JUICE
• 2 stalks celery
• ¼ pineapple
• ½ peeled grapefruit
• 12 pitted cherries
Pack the cherries in the juicer first and
squash them down with the other
ingredients.
The celery dislodges inorganic calcium
from the joints and the grapefruit helps
to dissolve them. Cherry juice is widely
acclaimed to relieve gout.
