JUICING SPEED GUIDE

SPEED 1 - SOFT AND SQUEEZY FRUIT

For best results, use the Dualit Blender or Hand Blender for food with high starch
content. We do not recommend that you juice fruits such as mangoes, bananas and
papayas as they will clog the mesh filter.

JUICE RECIPES

FENNEL
HEAVEN
• 2 apples
• 1 pear
• 1 fennel bulb
• Handful of spinach
• 1 peeled lime
• Ice
Pack the spinach tightly between the 2
apples. Peel the lime leaving the pith on
and juice everything, pour over the ice.
A juice that tastes like liquorice- a great anti
inflammatory and helpful for indigestion.
MEMORYADE
• 2 apples
• Large bunch of red or purple grapes
• Large handful blueberries
• Ice
Put the whole bunch of grapes and the
blueberries into the juicer pack down tightly
and juice on slow speed. Juice the apples
on fast speed. Pour over ice. Sip slowly.
A recent study suggested that drinking
purple grape juice could reduce or even
reverse memory loss and apples help to
boost the brain's production of
acetylcholine, a chemical essential for
memory and brain health.
ROOT JUICE
• 2 apples
• ½ beetroot (raw and unpeeled)
• 2 carrots
• 1 parsnip
• ¼ lemon (unwaxed and unpeeled)
Juice everything.
This juice is full of root vegetables which
are slow growing and therefore packed
with nutrients including potassium and
magnesium.
Beetroot is nature's best blood builder
and cleanser and helps to reduce blood
pressure by reducing hardening of the
arteries. Parsnips are packed with potassium
and help reduce blood pressure too.
CLEANSING
COCKTAIL
• 1 apples
• 2 pears
• 2 celery sticks
• 1 beetroot
• ⅓ lemon (unwaxed and unpeeled)
• 150ml coconut water
The pears contain levulose which is a sugar
more easily tolerated by diabetics.
Reduces acidity so useful for arthritis
and gout.
