What to do in case of an emergency

In the case of an emergency, the machine must be switched off immediately using the
EMERGENCY-OFF SWITCH.
2.2

Intended use of the machine

The heating units are specifically constructed for fruit juice production in small firms or gardening
and horticultural associations. These fruit juices are heated and sterilised with the heating unit. Any
other applications are to be checked with the manufacturer before use. Only working and auxiliary
materials checked with the manufacturer must be used with the heating unit. Written approval must
be given by the manufacturer before other working and auxiliary materials are used.
Any other application is considered improper use. The manufacturer is not liable for any resulting
damage. The operator is solely responsible for the risk. The machine is built according to the state-
of-the-art and in line with all recognised safety regulations. Nevertheless, its use may result in
danger to life and limb of the staff or third parties, or damage to the machine and other property.
The machine must only be used in a technically perfect condition, as intended, with due regard for
safety, an awareness of hazards and in due compliance with the operating manual. In particular,
faults that can affect safety must be eliminated immediately.
Observation of the operating manual and compliance with the servicing procedures are also part
and parcel of its intended use.
