IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS AND WARNINGS
• Protect power cord and AC adapter cord. Route cords so that they are not
walked on or pinched by items placed upon them.
• DO NOT mix old and new batteries. DO NOT mix alkaline, standard (carbon-
zinc), or rechargeable (nickel-cadmium) batteries; leakage, explosion and/or

• DO NOT, under any circumstances, use this AC adapter with any other
equipment. Likewise, do not use the adapter from any other product on this
breast pump.
• Remove batteries before storing unit for a prolonged period of time.
• DO NOT heat breast milk in the microwave. Microwaving can destroy
nutrients in breast milk and can heat liquids unevenly resulting in burns
or scalds.
• DO NOT re-freeze breast milk. After feeding, any unused breast milk left in
the bottle can be refrigerated and used within 4 to 6 hours.
• DO NOT attempt to pump breast milk directly into disposable bottles with
the electric breast pump. The pump is not designed to work with disposable

parts and accessories out of children's reach.
• Breast pumps are personal care items, for one user only.

decay may result from prolonged contact with liquids containing sugar such as
milk, formula, or juice. Discuss proper bottle feeding with our doctor or dentist.
• If you are a mother who is infected with Hepatitis B, Hepatitis C or Human
Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV), pumping breast milk will not reduce or remove
the risk of transmitting the virus to your baby through your breast milk.
• To minimize contamination, keep pump parts (including bags) clean and dry
when not in use.
