Troubleshooting

Problem: Pump won't turn on.
Possible Cause: No batteries or low batteries.
Action: Make sure fresh batteries are installed correctly (p. 9). If suction
level 1 light is flashing when the pump is off, the batteries are too
low to effectively pump.
Possible Cause: AC adapter not connected properly.
Action: Check adapter connections (p. 10).
Problem: Little or no suction
Possible Cause: Suction setting too low.
Action: Choose a higher suction level by pressing the suction increase
button (p. 12).
Possible Cause: Valve not assembled to flange.
Action: Mount the valve firmly to flange (p. 7).
Possible Cause: Membrane worn, torn or not assembled to valve.
Action: Replace membrane or ensure that it is connected properly to the
valve (p. 7). To maintain optimal performance with daily use, it is
recommended that membranes be replaced every 3 months.
Possible Cause: Dried milk in pump parts.
Action: Follow cleaning instructions. This pump can be easily disassembled
and washed (pp. 6 and 14).
Possible Cause: Membrane not sealing.
Action: Make sure valve and membrane are clean, with no debris on the
surface of the seal. Make sure membrane lies flat against the
surface of the valve (p. 7).
Possible Cause: Tubing or tubing adapter is loose or not connected.
Action: Check assembly of flange. All parts must be assembled properly
and fit together snugly, without gaps, for the pump to provide
maximum comfortable suction (pp. 7 and 8).
Possible Cause: Not a good seal on your breast.
Action: Reposition the flange to get a tighter seal. If the breast becomes too
wet with milk, you may need to dry it off and start again (p. 12).
Problem: Milk won't flow into the bottle.
Possible Cause: The valve is not opening.
Action: Clean the valve thoroughly and be sure it opens (p. 7 ).

From the original purchase date of this Product, for a period of one year for the
Product's motor and 90 days for all other Product components and accessories,
Evenflo provides a warranty to the original end user ("Purchaser") against defects
in material or workmanship. Evenflo's sole obligation under this express limited
warranty shall be, at Evenflo's option, to repair or replace any Product,
component or accessory that is determined to be defective by Evenflo and
determined to be covered by this warranty.
Repair or replacement as provided under this warranty is the exclusive remedy
of the Purchaser. Proof of purchase in the form of a receipted invoice or bill
of sale evidencing that the Product is within the warranty period must be
presented to obtain warranty service. This express limited warranty is
extended by Evenflo ONLY to the original Purchaser of the Product and is not
assignable or transferable to subsequent purchasers or end users of the Product.
