An electrical socket rated at IPX1 is protected against:
• Vertically falling drops of water e.g. condensation.
IPX1 products may not be placed in wet areas.
IPX1 products can be placed in damp areas. Such as: Cellars,
industrial premises and collective laundry rooms.
Safety instructions
1. Never place the appliance where it may fall into a bathtub or
other water containers.
2. Use this appliance only as described in this manual. Any
other use not recommended by the manufacturer may cause
fire, electric shock, or injury to persons.
3. If you feel unsure about installation, contact an authorized
electrician.
Electrical installation
If electrical installation is required, contact an authorized
electrician for help with installing this product.
This appliance must be installed in accordance with the
relevant wiring rules and regulations and in particular those
regulations which cover installation of appliances and
accessories in damp areas.
In accordance with local standards this appliance is required
to be connected to a power supply that includes an earthed
circuit.

Wall mount installation
1. Place the shoe dryer on a soft surface such as cloth or
paper. To protect the product from scratches and similar.
2. Measure the distance of the two fixed screw holes "A" and
"B". It should be around 232 mm, but each product can be
slightly different. So, it is important to check your product.
Alternatively you can hold up the product against the wall, and
mark with a pen through the screw holes.
3. Use a pencil to mark the distance "A" and "B" on the wall.
3.1 Optional: Use a spirit-level to insure that the product is
levelled horizontally.
4. Drill the two holes "A" and "B" according to the marking on
the wall with a drill.
5. Fix the two plastic wall plugs with a hammer into the drilled
holes, the plugs should be fully embedded in the wall.

6. Drive the screws partially into the wall plugs, there should
be 5 mm left of the screw.
7. Hang the appliance on the screws, tighten the screws
firmly.
7.1. Optional: Use a spirit-level to insure that the product is
levelled horizontally.
