Storage, cleaning, and maintenance
Storage
The scale should be stored in a convenient storage facility or closet. Make sure to not
leave the scale in an area where someone could trip on it or run into it.
Cleaning and disinfecting

2. For optimal results, follow the manufacturer's instructions and your facility's
procedure to clean the scale. Make sure to properly dispose of any used cleaning
supplies.
Battery replacement
1. Make sure the scale is powered down.
2. Using a Phillips screwdriver, remove the two fasteners on the access door and
remove the door.
3. Remove the old batteries and install six new size D batteries in the battery holder.
Make sure to follow the polarity instructions.
Any visible soil must be removed before cleaning or disinfecting.
