A2 INSTRUCTIONS FOR PERIODIC MAINTENANCE
A2.1 Routine maintenance
Perform periodically the following two checks:


AcquaSIL 20/40 level check
Check periodically for the level of residual AcquaSIL 20/40
an electronic system for the automatic detection of the liquid level which automatically emits an alarm signal
when the minimum liquid level is attained.

BravaDOS working check
For the proper working of BravaDOS make sure that the product is dosed and consumed regularly. The level
in the storage tank should decrease proportionally with water treated.

BravaDOS refill
Perform periodically the refilling of AcquaSIL 20/40
BravaDOS code PM010: unscrew the storage tank and fill it with AcquaSIL 20/40
indication.
BravaDOS code PM012, PM014, PM016: unscrew the small green cap located in the upper part of the
storage tank and insert the filling funnel; slowly pour AcquaSIL 20/40
®
with AcquaSIL 20/40 up to the maximum level indication.
A2.2 Inactivity
After long inactivity periods open a tap and let water flow for at least 3 minutes. If the water distribution line
should be cleaned and sanitized, BravaDOS should be cleaned and sanitized as well. Cleaning and
sanitization are part of the extraordinary maintenance and must be performed by qualified personnel only.
A2.3 Periodic checks
It is advisable to make two inspections per year by a qualified technician to verify the proper operation of the
equipment and to assess the need of extraordinary maintenance interventions.
A2.4 Extraordinary maintenance
Extraordinary maintenance or repair may affect the proper functioning and/or safety or integrity of the pump:
the description of all these operations are deliberately omitted in this manual. Therefore all extraordinary
maintenance and repair operations are not covered in this manual and should be performed by authorized
personnel only. Acqua Brevetti 95 s.r.l. has created and organized an efficient local technical assistance
extended to the whole country with trained technicians which are available to assist you to ensure the proper
operation of the equipment. In case of problems or if in doubt, please contact Acqua Brevetti 95 s.r.l.
