A2 INSTRUCTIONS FOR PERIODIC MAINTENANCE

A2.1 Periodic maintenance
Perform periodically the following checks:

As AcquaSIL 20/40 is consumed, the tank filling degree decreases until it drops below the minimum level. Before
reaching the minimum level, provide for the replenishment (see below).

Warning! The new MiniDOS tank has an increased volume (300 ml capacity). Using a 250 g
refill bag you will not reach the maximum level indicated on the tank. If you use the 1 liter
refill bottle you can reach the maximum level in the storage tank.
A2.2 Inactivity
After a period of inactivity of less than 30 days open a tap for at least 3- 4 minutes in order to flush all the piping
system. This precautionary operation should be performed always after prolonged periods of non-use of the water
distribution system independently of the presence of a water treatment device.
After a period of inactivity longer than 30 days the appliance must be sanitized.
The term "inactivity period" indicate a period in which the water distribution system remains completely closed
without withdrawal from tap (e.g. during holydays).
In case the hydraulic distribution system was subjected to a cleaning and sanitization it would be necessary to include
the appliance in the intervention as well. The sanitization is part of the extraordinary maintenance and it must be
performed by qualified personnel only.

A2.3 Periodic checks
It is advisable to make two inspections per year by an authorized technician to verify the proper operation of the
equipment.
A2.4 Extraordinary maintenance
Extraordinary maintenance or repair, if not properly done, may affect the proper functioning and/or safety of the
pump: the description of all these operations are deliberately omitted in this manual. Therefore all extraordinary
maintenance and repair operations are not covered in this manual and should be performed by authorized Acqua
Brevetti S.r.l personnel only or by a local delegate specifically authorized. Acqua Brevetti S.r.l. has created and
organized an efficient local technical assistance extended to the whole country with trained technicians which are
available to assist you to ensure the proper operation of the equipment. In case of damages or peculiar problems
please contact Acqua Brevetti S.r.l.
