Making sound easy to listen at low volume

You can change the dynamic range to make sounds easy to hear at a low volume.

Turn off the unit.

Press the key for the desired mode for more than 5 seconds.
The unit turns on with the selected setting.
Three settings are available (see below).
You can confirm the setting status by the lights of the indicator, when the unit is turned
on.
Setting
Description
Normal
Automatically adjusts the dynamic range
based on the volume level of the source.
Standard
Compresses the dynamic range to suit a
living room environment, etc.
Maximum
Does not compress the dynamic range.
NOTE
• Normal is set as default.
Returns to Normal
Sets to Standard
Sets to Maximum
Indicator
Lights up in green
Lights up in orange
Lights up in red

Initializing the settings of the unit

Follow the procedure below to initialize the unit. When the unit does not operate properly
for any reason, initialization may solve the problem.

Turn off the unit.

Hold down
(power) on the front panel of the unit for more than 3
seconds.
