SAFETY wARNINGS
The system must be installed by qualified operators, in compliance with current national and local safety laws.
Installation warnings
In compliance with European Directive 2004/108/EC (EMC), the system must be installed using devices,
cables and accessories that comply with the requisites established by the Directive for permanent
installations.
The system is declared Class II, in compliance with Standard EN 60950-1 and must be connected to the
main power supply taking into account the indications given in the Installer Manual.
The system must be installed in a dry place inside a building.
It if is mounted on the wall, the supplied nogs must be used (minimum of 6 mm).
Keep the low voltage wires separate, including the battery wires, from the main power lines and the
telephone lines.
IMPORTANT: Only trained and authorised personnel are allowed to work on the system for the connections
as described in the instruction manual. In the case of a fault, do not attempt to repair the product as it would
render the guarantee invalid. If the appliance is opened, dangerous high voltage parts could be exposed.
Always unplug the system from the mains before touching the power pack section.
It is advisable to periodically check that the alarm system is in perfect working order; however a reliable
electronic alarm system does not prevent intrusion, theft, fire or other events but helps to reduce the risk
of them occurring.
CONFORMITY wITH EUROPEAN DIRECTIVES
The system conforms to the european directives R&TTE 1999/5/CE (R&TTE), 2004/108/CE (EMC) and
therefore at normes ETSI EN 300 220 -2, ETSI EN 301 489 -1, ETSI EN 301 489 -3, CEI EN 50130- 4, CEI
EN 61000 -6- 3, CEI EN 60950-1.
CONNECTION OF THE CONTROL UNIT TO THE 230VCA NETwORK LINE

The building's electrical installation must fit a suitable magneto-thermal switch to protect from
overcurrents and short circuits.

The building's electrical installation must fit a suitable omnipolar switch. The switch must be easy to
access and have a separation from the contacts of at least 3 mm. The unipolar sectioning device can
be used to section the phase conductor if you are certain of having identified the neutral conductor.

The connection conductors to the power supply network and the internal harness must be fixed by
clamps or similar fixing items.
