Fastening the appliance

Check whether the vehicle has a load-bearing floor or false
floor for securing the heater. If the floor is unsuitable, create a
load-bearing surface beforehand by gluing a plywood board to
the floor, for example.

Screw heater to vehicle floor or false floor using four
B 5.5 x 25 screws (included in scope of delivery). Depending
on the situation, it may be possible to secure the heater with
three screws; in this case, always screw aluminum feet (a) and
selectively one of the plastic feet (b) to the vehicle floor.
The heater must be screwed to the floor of the
vehicle or the false floor in order to prevent the
gas system from becoming damaged because of move-
ment while driving!

Exhaust duct

Only Truma exhaust duct AA 3 (part no. 39320-00) and
combustion air infeed ZR (part no. 39580-00) may be used
for the Truma Combi heater because the unit was tested and
approved only with these ducts. Do not pinch or kink these
ducts during installation.
The roof cowl is available as an accessory to the heat-
ing device – assembly instructions are enclosed with the
delivery.

Installation of the wall cowl

Permissible duct lengths
The length specifi cations refer to the combusti on air
intake duct.

For the wall cowl the duct lengths can be routed from min.
60 cm to max. 100 cm as ascending duct in whichever way
required, or descending by max. 20 cm.
Duct lengths from 100 cm to max. 150 cm must always be
installed so that they are sloping upwards.

Cut ducts to lengths so that these project out of the opening
for the cowl during installation. Exhaust duct (1) must be 10 %
longer than combustion air infeed (5). This avoids elongation
and a tension load on the exhaust duct.
Assembly of wall cowl

Install wall cowl (arrow pointing up) on an even surface
around which wind can flow from all sides. Drill an opening
of 83 mm diame ter (pack wood into any hol low spaces in the
area of the cowl opening). Use the en closed rubber seal (8) for
sealing. In the event of structured surfaces coat with plastic
body sealant – do not use silicone!
Slide clamp (7) over the ducts prior to passing the exhaust
double duct through the opening.
Slide rubber seal (8 – smooth side toward cowl, sealing
lips toward wall) onto cowl inner part (9) and slide clamp (2)
over exhaust duct (1). Crush the end of the waste gas pipe (1)
so that the coils lie on top of each other over a length of ap-
prox. 2 cm and then push over the O-ring (10) onto the pipe
(11– the deflection faces upwards).
Slide holes of clamp (2) onto pins of muff (11 – screw facing
downwards) and screw in place. Slide combustion air intake
duct (5) on the serrated connection fitting (12).
Attach cowl inner part (9) with six screws (13), set on cowl
outer part (14) and screw on with two screws (15 – screws
B 3.5 x 25, included with delivery).
Use clamp (7) to attach combustion air infeed to muff (12)
from inside and (if length greater than 60 cm) attach to wall
with at least one clamp ZRS (16 – part no. 39590-00).
Connection of the exhaust double duct to the
appliance

Compress exhaust duct (1) at its beginning so that the coils
lie next to each other. Slide clamp (4 – claws toward unit)
over exhaust duct (1). Slide clamp (7) onto combustion air
infeed (5). Slide exhaust duct (1) all the way onto muff (3).
Slide clamp (4) to the end (the end position must be between
the clamp's claws) and screw in place. Slide combustion air
infeed (5) onto muff (6) and secure with clamp (7).
