After Treatment

• Apply a soothing lotion such as aloe vera.
• Do not use peeling and bleaching creams or products
for at least 24 hours.
• Avoid direct sun exposure for at least two weeks. If re-
cently-treated skin is exposed to sunlight in this time
period, make sure to apply SPF 30 or higher sunscreen.
• Do not wax or pluck hairs from treated areas.
Remember that hair may take up to two weeks to fall out if
the hair follicle is still active.

6. Care and Maintenance

• Shut off and unplug the device before cleaning.
• Clean the applicator head cover after every session by
using a dry, clean cloth.
• Keep the device dry. Never place, store or use this de-
vice near bathtubs, showers, basins or other containers
of water as this may cause electric shock.
• If you do not plan on using the device for a long period
of time, clean it and store it away.
• If you plan to travel and take your device with you, you
should store it in the original box and follow the main-
tenance instructions.

7. Troubleshooting

• If the device does not turn on:
a. Ensure the power cord is connected properly into the
device and the electrical outlet.
b. Make sure that the electrical outlet has power.
• If the device does not trigger a pulse:
a. Ensure it makes full contact with the skin. The trigger
button will operate only when the device is in full con-
tact with the skin.
b. Check that the area being treated is large enough and
sufficiently flat. The whole treatment window must
touch the skin area. Pull the skin flat if needed.
c. If skin tone is too dark, the device will not operate and
the red indicator LED will flash.
d. In the case of a safety issue or when the lamp has
reached the end of its service life, a red LED will il-
luminate and then the device will shut down.
• General error:
a. Keep the treatment window clean. If you cannot get
the area clean, contact Customer Service.
b. If pulses are delayed after pressing the trigger button,
try to move to a cooler room. The device may pulse at
a slower rate in a warm environment.
