WARNING! Chemical Hazard. Obey safety precautions when
handling chemicals. Some chemicals used with this instrument
can be hazardous and potentially cause injury, illness, or
death.
When working with hazardous materials, take the following general
precautions:
Operators must be fully trained in laboratory site safety
regulations and procedures, including the safe preparation,
handling, and disposal of microarrays, slides, compounds, and
other consumables.
Wear protective equipment in accordance with laboratory site
regulations, including but not limited to gloves, eye protective
equipment, and a laboratory coat.
Operators must be fully trained in the use of the instrument. For
more information on using the instrument, see the software
Help system.
The lab manager or other responsible person must make sure
that the workplace is safe and that the instrument operators are
not exposed to dangerous levels of hazardous or toxic
substances (biological or chemical) as defined in the MSDS or

Materials used in the preparation of cell plates may be biohazardous.
When preparing, handling, and disposing of microarrays, slides,
compounds, and other consumables, wear appropriate protective
equipment in accordance with laboratory site procedures.
